द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय १६२: प्रातःसंध्यायां युद्धप्रवृत्तिः तथा रजोमेघे संमूढता
अशक्या तरसा जेतुं पाण्डवानामनीकिनी । जीवत्सु पाण्डुपुत्रेषु तद्धि सत्यं ब्रवीमि ते
aśakyā tarasā jetuṃ pāṇḍavānām anīkinī | jīvatsu pāṇḍuputreṣu taddhi satyaṃ bravīmi te ||
قال سَنجايا: «إن جيش الباندافا لا يُقهر بمجرد الاندفاع الأعمى ما دام أبناء باندو أحياء. وهذه—حقًّا—هي الحقيقة التي أقولها لك.»
