Chapter 161
आस्तीर्णा वसुधा सर्वा शूराणामनिवर्तिनाम् । राजन! युद्धमें पीठ न दिखानेवाले शूरवीरोंके कट-कटकर गिरे हुए मस्तकों और भुजाओंसे वहाँकी सारी भूमि सब ओरसे पट गयी थी
āstīrṇā vasudhā sarvā śūrāṇām anivartinām | rājan yuddheṃ pīṭha na dikhānevāle śūravīroṃ ke kaṭ-kaṭkar gire hue mastakoṃ aur bhujāoṃ se vahāṃ kī sārī bhūmi sab or se paṭ gayī thī |
قال سانجيا: أيها الملك، لقد كانت الأرض كلها هناك مغطّاة من كل جانب بالرؤوس والأذرع المقطوعة لأولئك الأبطال الذين لا يرتدّون—الذين لا يُظهرون ظهورهم في القتال. وكان ذلك المنظر يعلن الثمن الفادح للشجاعة الثابتة، ويكشف طبيعة الحرب الكالحة التي تلتهم كل شيء.
