Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca
विसृजन्तं च कौन्तेयं नानुपश्याम वै तदा । उस समय हम कुन्तीकुमार महाधनुर्धर अर्जुनको बाण लेते, चढ़ाते और छोड़ते समय देख नहीं पाते थे
visṛjantaṃ ca kaunteyaṃ nānupaśyāma vai tadā |
قال سنجيا: في ذلك الحين لم نكن نستطيع أن نُبصر حقًّا ابن كونتي—أرجونا—وهو يطلق سهامه؛ فقد كان تناوله للسهم، وتثبيته على الوتر، ثم إفلاته سريعًا جارفًا إلى حدٍّ يفلت من أبصارنا، كاشفًا في قلب الحرب عن شدةٍ فوق بشرية في انضباطه القتالي.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined mastery in action: Arjuna’s skill is portrayed as so refined and focused that ordinary observers cannot track it, underscoring the ideal of concentrated effort and excellence within kṣatriya-duty during a righteous war.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that, in the thick of battle, Arjuna’s act of releasing arrows was so rapid that the onlookers could not even see the moment of release, emphasizing Arjuna’s overwhelming battlefield momentum.
