द्रोणकर्णयोः निशि संप्रहारः — Night Engagement with Droṇa and Karṇa
संजय उवाच भूरिश्रवसि संक्रान्ते परलोकाय भारत । वासुदेवं महाबाहुरर्जुन: समचूचुदत्,संजयने कहा--भारत! भूरिश्रवाके परलोकगामी हो जानेपर महाबाहु अर्जुनने भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको प्रेरित करते हुए कहा--
sañjaya uvāca
bhūriśravasi saṅkrānte paralokāya bhārata |
vāsudevaṃ mahābāhur arjunaḥ samacūcudat ||
قال سنجيا: «يا بهاراتا (دْهْرِتَراشْتْرَ)، لما مضى بْهُورِيشْرَفَا (Bhūriśravā) إلى العالم الآخر، حثَّ أرجونا عظيمُ الساعدين فاسوديفا (كريشنا) على أن يعمل، وقال—»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how death in war immediately reshapes duty and decision-making: once a warrior has fallen, the living must respond with discernment, seeking guidance and taking responsibility for the next action amid ethical pressure.
Sanjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Bhūriśravas has died; in the aftermath of that event, Arjuna turns to Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) and urges him—prompting counsel or action as the battle continues.
