धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणाभिमुख्यं तथा सात्यकि-कर्ण-समागमः

अर्जुन उवाच या प्रीतिर्थर्मराजे मे भीमे च बलिनां वरे । नकुले सहदेवे च सा मे त्वयि शलाग्रज,उस समय अर्जुनने कहा--शलके बड़े भाई भूरिश्रवाजी! मेरा जो प्रेम धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर, बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेन, नकुल और सहदेवमें है, वही आपमें भी है
arjuna uvāca yā prītir dharmarāje me bhīme ca balināṃ vare | nakule sahadeve ca sā me tvayi śalāgraja ||
قال أرجونا: «إن المودّة التي أحملها لِدَهرماراجا يُدْهِشْتِهيرا، ولبهيما—أوّل الأقوياء—ولِنَكولا وسَهَديفا، هي بعينها المودّة التي أحملها لك أيضًا، يا أخا شالا الأكبر. وحتى في لهيب المعركة أعترف بما يشبه حرمة القرابة، وبمطالب الشرف التي تُوثِقُ أواصر المحاربين النبلاء».
