ताडितो भीमसेनेन क्रोधादारक्तलोचन: । विहसन्निव राधेयो वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह,भीमसेनकी मार खाकर राधापुत्र कर्णकी आँखें लाल हो गयीं। उसने हँसते हुए-से यह बात कही--
tāḍito bhīmasenena krodhād āraktalocanaḥ | vihasann iva rādheyo vākyam etad uvāca ha ||
لما ضُرِب كارنا، رادهيّا، على يد بهيماسينا احمرّت عيناه من الغضب؛ ومع ذلك، وكأنه يضحك سخريةً، قال هذه الكلمات.
