अन्धकार-रजःसंमूढे रणाङ्गणे प्रदीपप्रकाशः | Illumination of the Army in Darkness and Dust

अथान्यद्‌ धनुरादाय कर्णो भारत दुर्मना: । इषुभिश्छादयामास भीमसेन॑ परंतप:,भारत! तब शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले कर्णने खिन्न होकर दूसरा धनुष हाथमें ले भीमसेनको अपने बाणोंद्वारा आच्छादित कर दिया

athānyad dhanur ādāya karṇo bhārata durmanāḥ | iṣubhiś chādayāmāsa bhīmasenaṃ parantapaḥ ||

قال سنجيا: يا بهاراتا! إنّ كارنا، مُحرق الأعداء، وقد اعتراه الكمد، تناول قوسًا آخر، وأغرق بهيماسينا بوابلٍ كثيفٍ من السهام.
