Chapter 137: Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki) Slays Somadatta; Yudhiṣṭhira Redirected from Droṇa
ko hi sañjaya bhīmasya sthātum utsahate 'grataḥ
Unchecked wrongdoing breeds fear: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s anxious question shows how adharma culminates in dread when consequences arrive. It also highlights the kṣatriya ideal of steadfastness—only the truly courageous can stand firm before overwhelming force.
In the midst of the Drona Parva’s battle reports, Dhṛtarāṣṭra questions Sañjaya about Bhīma’s terrifying presence on the battlefield, asking who among the warriors can dare to face him directly.
