ताभ्यां दुर्योधन: सार्थमकरोत् संख्यमुत्तमम् । त्वरितस्त्वरमाणाभ्यां भ्रातृभ्यां भारतो बली,तब उस बलवान् भरतवंशी वीर दुर्योधनने तुरंत आगे बढ़कर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ आते हुए उन दोनों भाइयोंके साथ भारी युद्ध छेड़ दिया
tābhyāṃ duryodhanaḥ sārtham akarot saṅkhyam uttamam | tvaritas tvaramāṇābhyāṃ bhrātṛbhyāṃ bhārato balī ||
قال درونا: «إن دوريودhana، القويّ من سلالة بهاراتا، اندفع سريعًا إلى الأمام، ومع هذين الأخوين اللذين كانا يسرعان اندفاعًا، التحم في قتالٍ شديدٍ حاسم.»
