(दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठके ३ ३ श्लोक मिलाकर कुल ४२३ “लोक हैं) न२्ंखय्स््स्लििसस ह्य £>ाभ्प्ट् त्रेशरदाधिकशततमो<्ध्याय: दुर्योधनका द्रोणाचार्यको उपालम्भ देना, द्रोणाचार्यका उसे द्यूतका परिणाम दिखाकर युद्धके लिये वापस भेजना और उसके साथ युधामन्यु तथा उत्तमौजाका युद्ध संजय उवाच तस्मिन् विलुलिते सैन्ये सैन्धवायार्जुने गते । सात्वते भीमसेने च पुत्रस्ते द्रोणमभ्ययात्
sañjaya uvāca | tasmin vilulite sainye saindhavāyārjune gate | sātvatte bhīmasene ca putras te droṇam abhyayāt ||
قال سانجيا: لما اضطرب ذلك الجيش وتبع أرجونا سايندهافا، وكان ساتفَتَه (كريشنا) وبهيمسينا منشغلين بالقتال في مواضع أخرى، أقبل ابنك على دروناآچاريا. وتُبرز هذه اللحظة كيف أنّ دوريوذانا، وسط فوضى الحرب وتبدّل المسؤوليات، يلجأ إلى قائده—طالباً المحاسبة وتجديد العزم—كاشفاً توتراً أخلاقياً بين ضرورة التدبير الحربي وأعباء القيادة في حربٍ تُنسب إلى الدارما.
