तेषामापततामेव शिलायुद्ध॑ं चिकीर्षताम् । सात्यकि: प्रतिसंधाय निशितान् प्राहिणोच्छरान्,प्रस्तरयुद्धकी इच्छा रखनेवाले उन योद्धाओंके आक्रमण करते ही सात्यकिने तेज किये हुए बाणोंका संधान करके उन्हें उनपर चलाया
teṣām āpatatām eva śilāyuddhaṁ cikīrṣatām | sātyakiḥ pratisaṁdhāya niśitān prāhiṇoc charān ||
فلما اندفعوا مهاجمين، يريدون قتال الحجارة، سدّد ساتياكي وأطلق عليهم سهامه الحادّة.
