अद्य मद्‌बाणनिहतान्‌ योधमुख्यान्‌ सहस्रश: । दृष्टवा दुर्योधनो राजा पश्चात्तापं गमिष्यति,आज मेरे बाणोंसे अपने सहस्रों प्रमुख योद्धाओंको मारा गया देखकर राजा दुर्योधन अत्यन्त पश्चात्ताप करेगा

adya mad-bāṇa-nihatān yodha-mukhyān sahasraśaḥ | dṛṣṭvā duryodhano rājā paścāt-tāpaṃ gamiṣyati ||

قال سوتا: «اليوم، حين يرى الملك دوريودانا أن آلافًا من خيرة محاربيه قد صُرِعوا بسهامي، سيُساق إلى ندمٍ مُرّ.»
