قال سانجيا: أيها الملك، في تلك المعركة عذّب دوريودھانا، ومعه سائر أبطال المَهارَثَة، ماذافا بوابلٍ عظيم من السهام.

The verse underscores the brutal momentum of war: even renowned fighters can be overwhelmed when many elite warriors coordinate force. Ethically, it highlights how battle tends to escalate from individual valor to collective overpowering, intensifying suffering and testing kṣatriya-dharma under extreme pressure.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Duryodhana, supported by other mahārathas, attacks with a heavy barrage of arrows and severely presses the named opponent (Mādhava) on the battlefield.
