गदामेवाग्रहीत्‌ क्रुद्धश्चिक्षेप च परंतप । शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरेश! उस गदाको सहसा अपने ऊपर आती देख क्रोधमें भरे हुए युधिष्ठिरने भी गदा ही उठा ली और द्रोणाचार्यपर चला दी

sañjaya uvāca | gadām evāgrahīt kruddhaś cikṣepa ca parantapa |

قال سانجيا: وقد استبدّ به الغضب، قبض على هراوته وقذف بها، يا مُحْرِقَ الأعداء. فلمّا رأى يودهيشثيرا تلك الهراوة تندفع نحوه بغتةً، اشتعل غضبه هو أيضًا، فرفع هراوةً وقذفها ردًّا، موجّهًا إيّاها إلى دروناآتشاريّا.
