भीमकर्णसमागमः | Bhīma–Karṇa Encounter

ऐश्वर्यमदसम्मूढो नैष दुःखमुपेयिवान्‌ । नच ते संयुगे वीर्य जानाति पुरुषर्षभ,पुरुषरत्न! ऐश्वर्यके घमंडमें चूर रहनेवाले इस दुर्योधनने कभी कष्ट नहीं उठाया है। यह युद्धमें तुम्हारे बल-पराक्रमको नहीं जानता है

aiśvaryamadasammūḍho naiṣa duḥkham upeyivān | na ca te saṁyuge vīryaṁ jānāti puruṣarṣabha ||

لقد أعماه سُكرُ السلطان والثراء، فما ذاق قطُّ مشقّةً حقًّا. وهو لا يعرف بأسَك في ساحة القتال، يا ثورَ الرجال—لم يقدّر القوةَ والبطولةَ اللتين تحملُهما إلى الميدان.
