Bhīmasena and Droṇa: Containment, Advance, and Recognition
तावतीत्य रथानीकं विमुक्तौ पुरुषर्षभौ । ददृशाते यथा राहोरास्यान्मुक्तौ प्रभाकरी
tāvatītya rathānīkaṃ vimuktau puruṣarṣabhau | dadṛśāte yathā rāhor āsyān muktau prabhākarī ||
قال سانجيا: وبعد أن اجتازا كتلة صفوف العربات الحربية وتحرّرا من الطوق، بدا أفضل الرجلين—كريشنا وأرجونا—كالشمس والقمر وقد أُطلقا من فم راهو.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights resilience and the power of right guidance: even when surrounded by overwhelming force, disciplined effort and wise leadership can restore ‘light’—clarity, courage, and hope—just as the Sun and Moon reappear after an eclipse.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna have broken through a dense enemy chariot-formation and escaped the encirclement; their sudden reappearance is likened to the Sun and Moon emerging from Rāhu’s grasp after an eclipse.
