वासुदेवो रथात् तूर्णमवतीर्य महाद्युति: । मोचयामास तुरगान् विनुन्नान् कड़कपत्रिभि:,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! जब महात्मा कुन्तीकुमारने वह जल उत्पन्न कर दिया, शत्रुओंकी सेनाको आगे बढ़नेसे रोक दिया और बाणोंका घर बना दिया, तब महातेजस्वी भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने तुरंत ही रथसे उतरकर कंकपत्रयुक्त बाणोंसे क्षत-विक्षत हुए घोड़ोंको खोल दिया

vāsudevo rathāt tūṛṇam avatīrya mahādyutiḥ |
mocayāmāsa turagān vinunnān kaṅkapatribhiḥ ||
قال سنجيا: «أيها الملك، عندئذٍ هبط فاسوديفا، المتلألئ بعظيم البهاء، سريعًا من العربة، وأطلق الخيل التي أُصيبت إصابات بالغة بسهامٍ مُريَّشة بريش البلشون.»
