घण्टाभिश्न गजेन्द्राणां पतिताभि: समन्तत:

Transliteration

ghaṇṭābhis tu gajendrāṇāṃ patitābhiḥ samantataḥ | pṛṣṭheṣu ca gajānāṃ vai citrāḥ kambalapaṭṭikāḥ | aṅkuśāś ca nipatitāḥ sarvataḥ paridṛśyante | nānāvidhāni cābharaṇāni hemarajjuś ca tatra-tatra vikīrṇāḥ ||

Translation

قال سنجيا: في كل ناحية كانت أجراس الفيلة العظام مطروحة ساقطة. وكانت الأغطية المرقّطة الممزقة التي كانت تُبسط على ظهورها، ومعها المهازيب (الأنكوشا) التي تُساق بها، متناثرة في كل مكان. وكذلك حُليّ الأعناق المتنوعة والحبال الذهبية مبعثرة هنا وهناك.
