ऋषयस्त्वथ देवाश्न दृष्टवा ब्रह्माणमुत्थितम् स्थिता: प्राउजलय: सर्वे पश्यन्तो महदद््भुतम्,ऋषि तथा देवता ब्रह्माजीको खड़े (और हाथ जोड़े) हुए देख स्वयं भी उस परम अद्भुत तेजका दर्शन करते हुए हाथ जोड़कर खड़े हो गये
ṛṣayastvatha devāś ca dṛṣṭvā brahmāṇam utthitam | sthitāḥ prāñjalayaḥ sarve paśyanto mahad adbhutam ||
قال بهيشما: ثم إن الحكماء والآلهة، لما رأوا براهما قد نهض ووقف، وقفوا جميعًا بأكفٍّ مضمومة. وإذ أبصروا ذلك التجلي العظيم العجيب، ظلّوا منصتين في خشوعٍ وهيبة.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights dhārmic etiquette: when confronted with a higher spiritual or cosmic authority, even exalted beings respond with humility, self-restraint, and reverent attention (prāñjali). Respectful conduct is portrayed as a universal norm sustaining order.
Bhīṣma narrates that the sages and gods witness Brahmā standing up; in response they also stand with folded hands, gazing upon a great marvel. The scene emphasizes collective reverence before an extraordinary divine manifestation.
