स च्छिन्नधन्वा कौरव्य: पुनरन्यन्महद् धनु: । निमिषान्तरमात्रेण सज्यं चक्रे पिता तव,धनुष कट जानेपर आपके ताऊ कुरुनन्दन भीष्मने पलक मारते-मारते पुनः दूसरे विशाल धनुषपर प्रत्यंचा चढ़ा दी
sa cchinnadhanvā kauravyaḥ punar anyan mahad dhanuḥ | nimiṣāntaramātreṇa sajyaṃ cakre pitā tava ||
فلما قُطع قوسه، يا سليل الكورو، أخذ أبوك بهيشما في الحال قوسًا عظيمًا آخر، وفي مقدار رمشة عين شدَّه وأوتره من جديد.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness and disciplined competence: even when a weapon is destroyed, a warrior grounded in duty and training regains readiness instantly, without yielding to panic or despair.
