मार्गाश्न चरतश्षित्रं व्यस्मयन्त रणे जना: । वे बार-बार उछलते, सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें दौड़ते और युद्धके विचित्र पैंतरे दिखाते हुए रणभूमिमें विचरते थे। यशस्वी भीमसेनका यह पराक्रम देखकर लोगोंको बड़ा आश्चर्य होता था
sañjaya uvāca | mārgāś ca carataś citraṃ vyasmayanta raṇe janāḥ |
قال سنجيا: وبينما كان يتحرك في ساحة القتال، مُظهرًا مناورات غريبة متنوّعة وتبدلات سريعة في المسار، امتلأ الناس في المعركة دهشة. إذ رأوا بأس بهيماسينا الشهير—يقفز مرة بعد مرة، ويندفع في كل اتجاه، ويُبرز خططًا قتالية خارقة—تعجّب الناظرون من طاقته الحربية.
