Rajo-dhūli-saṃmūḍha-saṅgrāmaḥ
The Dust-Obscured Battle and Mutual Charges
पुरा चैवापराधेन वधेन च चमूपते: । मन्ये मन: प्रजज्वाल पाण्डवानां महात्मनाम्,पहले भी कौरवोंद्वारा पाण्डवोंका अपराध हुआ है; उससे तथा सेनापतिके वधसे महामना पाण्डवोंके हृदयमें आग-सी लग गयी होगी, यह मेरा विश्वास है
purā caivāparādhena vadhena ca camūpateḥ | manye manaḥ prajajvāla pāṇḍavānāṁ mahātmanām ||
قال دِهْرِتَرَاشْتْرَا: «لقد سَبَقَ أن وُقِعَ عليهم الظلمُ والاعتداء، وها هو اليوم يُضاف إليه قتلُ قائدهم. وإني لأعتقد أن قلوبَ الباندافا ذوي النفوس العظيمة قد اشتعلت نارًا. وغضبُهم المولود من الأذى والجور لا بد أنه الآن يتأجّج بعنف.»
