Evening Withdrawal after Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
मृत्योरास्यमनुप्राप्तं मद्रराजममोचयत् । तब आपके महाबली पुत्र दुर्योधनने भीष्मजीको आगे करके सम्पूर्ण सेनाके साथ बैतके रथपर चढ़ाई की और मृत्युके मुखमें पहुँचे हुए मद्रराज शल्यको छुड़ा लिया ।। ६४ || ततो युद्ध समभवत् तुमुलं लोमहर्षणम्
mṛtyor āsyam anuprāptaṃ madrarājam amocayat | tato yuddhaṃ samabhavat tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam ||
قال سنجيا: إن دوريوذانا، ابنك شديدَ البأس، وقد جعل بهيشما في المقدّمة وتقدّم مع الجيش كلّه، أنقذ شاليا ملكَ مادرا وقد بلغ فمَ الموت. وعندئذٍ اندلعت معركةٌ ضارية—صاخبةٌ مروّعة تُقشعرّ لها الأبدان.
