Karma-Yoga, Jñāna-Yajña, and Avatāra Instruction
क्लैब्यं मा सम गम: पार्थ नैतत् त्वय्युपपद्यते । क्षुद्रे हृदयदौर्बल्यं त्यक्त्वोत्तिष्ठ परंतप
klaibyaṁ mā sma gamaḥ pārtha naitat tvayy upapadyate | kṣudraṁ hṛdaya-daurbalyaṁ tyaktvottiṣṭha paraṁtapa ||
«لا تنحدر إلى الخَوَر، يا بارثا؛ فهذا لا يليق بك. اطرح ضعف القلب الحقير، يا مُحرق الأعداء، وانهض مستعدًّا للقتال.»
संजय उवाच
One should not surrender to ignoble despair or self-diminishing fear; instead, abandon inner weakness and rise to perform one’s rightful duty with courage and steadiness.
On the battlefield, Arjuna falters and refuses to fight; in response, Kṛṣṇa admonishes him, saying such weakness is unworthy of him and urging him to stand up and engage in battle.
