इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें दुर्योधनके प्रति भीष्यका कथनविषयक एक सौ इक््कीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvake antargataṁ bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi duryodhanaṁ prati bhīṣmasya kathana-viṣayaka ekaśataikaviṁśatitam adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
وهكذا ينتهي الفصل الحادي والعشرون بعد المائة من «بارفا بيشما» من «المهابهاراتا الجليلة»، ضمن القسم المتعلّق بقتل بيشما، وهو الفصل الذي يتناول خطاب بيشما إلى دوريودhana. وتُشير صيغة الختام هذه إلى انتقالٍ في السرد: إذ يتوقّف الخبر لحظةً ليثبت تمام وحدةٍ صيغت فيها المشورة والدارما (الواجب) وثِقَل الحرب الأخلاقي عبر كلمات بيشما الموجّهة إلى ملك الكاورافا.
