अभ्यधावन्‌ परीप्सन्त: फाल्गुनं भरतर्षभ | भरतश्रेष्ठ] उस भयानक शब्दको सुनकर पाण्डव महारथी अर्जुनकी रक्षाके लिये दौड़े

sañjaya uvāca | abhyadhāvan parīpsantaḥ phālgunaṃ bharatarṣabha |

قال سانجيا: يا ثورَ آلِ بهاراتا، لما سمع محاربو الباندافا العظامُ أصحابُ العربات ذلك الصخبَ المروّع اندفعوا إلى الأمام، قاصدين حماية فالغونا (أرجونا). وتؤكد هذه اللحظة واجبَ المحارب في الحراسة والتناصر وسط فوضى المعركة.
