समन्ततश्न दृश्यन्ते पतिता धरणीतले । बाणोंकी वेदनासे आतुर हो पताकाओंसहित बड़े-बड़े हाथी चारों दिशाओंमें चक्कर काट रहे थे। नरेन्द्र! गदा, शक्ति और धनुष धारण किये हुए बहुत-से क्षत्रिय सब ओर पृथ्वीपर पड़े दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे थे || ६१ है ।।

قال سنجيا: من كل جانب كان يُرى المحاربون صرعى على وجه الأرض. وقد امتلأت ساحة القتال بأجساد كثير من الكشترية—ملوكًا ومقاتلين يحملون الهراوات والرماح والأقواس—كاشفةً الثمن الفادح للغضب والخصومة حين يُحجَب الدَّرْمَا (الحقّ) بإكراه السعي إلى الظفر.
