इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें भीमसेन और अर्जुनका पराक्रमविषयक एक सौ चौदहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi antargate bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi bhīmasena-arjunayoḥ parākramaviṣayaka ekaśata-caturdaśottara-adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
وهكذا انتهى الفصل الرابع عشر بعد المئة من «بِهِيشْما بَرْفَا» من «المهابهارتا المجيدة»، ضمن قسم مقتل بِهِيشْما، واصفًا بأسَ بِهِيمَسِينا وأَرْجُونَا. وتأتي صيغة الختام لتجعل السرد سجلًّا للدَّهَرْما وسط أتون الحرب، مبرزةً الجهد البطولي الذي بُذل في خدمة نظامٍ أخلاقيٍّ أوسع.
