भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

निध्नन्तं समरे शत्रून्‌ योधयानं च सायकै: । तब उस महासमरमें महारथी भीमसेनको, जो समरभूमिमें सायकोंद्वारा शत्रुओंका संहार करते हुए उनके साथ युद्ध कर रहे थे, देखकर रथके द्वारा अर्जुन भी वहीं आ पहुँचे

nidhnāntaṁ samare śatrūn yodhayānaṁ ca sāyakaiḥ |

قال سنجيا: لما رأى بهيماسينا، ذلك المقاتل العظيم على العربة، في ذلك القتال الفسيح—يُفني الأعداء في خضمّ المعمعة ويقاتلهم بوابلٍ من السهام—قدم أرجونا كذلك بعربته إلى الموضع نفسه.
