Educational Q&A

Even in war, a righteous king seeks a clear and responsible means (upāya) rather than acting blindly; victory is pursued through counsel and discernment, ideally aligned with dharma.

Yudhiṣṭhira, facing the crisis of the Kurukṣetra conflict, asks for practical guidance—requesting a method or strategy by which the Pāṇḍavas can secure victory in the battle.
