The verse highlights the ethical ideal of receptive counsel: a righteous leader’s words are to be weighed and affirmed when they align with dharma. Kṛṣṇa’s approval signals that wise speech—especially in a crisis like war—should be recognized and followed.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Kṛṣṇa addresses Yudhiṣṭhira and expresses agreement with what Yudhiṣṭhira has just said, marking a moment of counsel and validation within the broader Kurukṣetra war narrative.
