बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
परिष्वज्य च तां प्रीतो विससर्ज गृहान् प्रति
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pariṣvajya ca tāṃ prīto visasarja gṛhān prati |
قال فايشَمبايانا: وقد سُرَّ قلبُه، عانقها ثم أذن لها أن تمضي إلى بيتها. ويُبرز هذا المشهد ضبطَ أرجونا لنفسه المقرون بالرحمة بعد خراب الحرب: فبدلًا من الزهوّ بالنصر أو القسوة، قدّم التعزية وخاتمةً موقَّرة، وكأنه يضع موضعَ سؤالٍ شريعةَ المحارب التي أودت بحياة كثيرين.
