बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
कुरुध्व॑ सर्वकार्याणि महद् वो भयमागतम् । एष योत्स्यामि सर्वास्तु निवार्य शरवागुराम्
kuru dhvaṁ sarvakāryāṇi mahad vo bhayam āgatam | eṣa yotsyāmi sarvāstu nivārya śaravāgurām ||
قال فايشامبايانا: «أتمّوا فورًا كل ما يلزمكم من الأعمال؛ فقد أقبل عليكم خطر عظيم. انظروا—لقد صدَدْتُ شبكة سهامكم واخترقتها وحطّمتها، وها أنا الآن قائمٌ مستعدٌّ لقتالكم جميعًا».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the kṣatriya ethic of meeting danger directly: when a grave threat arrives, one should act decisively, complete urgent duties, and face conflict with steadiness and readiness rather than panic.
A warrior issues a warning to opponents: they should finish their preparations because a major peril has arrived. He declares that he will break through their defensive ‘net’ of arrows and engage them all in battle.
