बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
तथायं सुरथाज्जातो मम पौत्रो महाभुज: । “मन्दबुद्धि दुर्योधन और जयद्रथको भूलकर हमें अपनाओ। जैसे अभिमन्युसे शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले परीक्षितका जन्म हुआ है
tathāyaṃ surathāj jāto mama pautro mahābhujaḥ |
قال فايشَمبايانا: «وهكذا وُلِد من سُرَثَة هذا الحفيدُ لي، عظيمُ الساعدَين». تُبرز هذه العبارةُ استمراريةَ السلالة بعد خراب الحرب: فالنَّسَبُ يتجدّدُ بأحفادٍ جديرين، وتدعو السامعَ إلى الإعراض عن ولاءاتٍ مضلَّلة والإقرارِ بالخلافةِ الشرعية الموافقة للدارما.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even after catastrophic conflict, dharmic order is re-established through rightful succession and the birth of worthy heirs; strength (mahābhuja) is framed as a support for stability and legitimate rule rather than mere violence.
The narrator Vaiśaṃpāyana identifies a newly born descendant—his grandson—stating that he has been born from Suratha, marking the continuation and renewal of the family line in the aftermath of the great war.
