Educational Q&A

Right practice matters: a pure-minded person should faithfully follow the authoritative instruction (here attributed to Brahmā and transmitted by Vāyu). Proper conduct in accordance with that teaching leads to siddhi—successful spiritual attainment.

Vāyudeva addresses a noble listener, affirming the listener’s inner purity and urging him to implement the counsel that Vāyu has relayed from Brahmā. The verse functions as an exhortation: practice the instruction correctly and the promised attainment will follow.
