अर्चयन्नतिथीन्‌ काले दद्याच्चापि प्रतिश्रयम्‌ । फलपत्रावरैर्मूले: श्यामाकेन च वर्तयन्‌,अतिथिको आश्रय दे और समयपर उनका सत्कार करे। जंगली फल, मूल, पत्ता अथवा सावाँ खाकर जीवन-निर्वाह करे

arcayann atithīn kāle dadyāc cāpi pratiśrayam | phalapatrāvarair mūlaiḥ śyāmākena ca vartayan ||

قال فايُو: «في الوقت اللائق ينبغي إكرام الضيوف الوافدين وتقديم المأوى لهم أيضًا. وليعش مقتاتًا بثمار البرّ وأوراقه وجذوره—أو حتى بحبّ الشياماكا—على ألا يُهمل قطّ واجب الضيافة.»
