Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
ekadhā bahudhā caiva vikurvāṇas tatas tataḥ
The verse highlights a divine capacity to appear as a single unified power or as multiple differentiated expressions, suggesting that one underlying force can operate through many forms depending on need and context.
Vāyu is speaking about his own mode of action—how he can manifest in diverse ways—framing his presence as adaptable and repeatedly operative across different situations.
