Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
द्वितीयं मारुतो भूत त्वगध्यात्मं च विश्रुता
dvitīyaṁ māruto bhūta tvagadhyātmaṁ ca viśrutā
قال فايُو: «لقد صرتَ الثاني في الترتيب، مولودًا من الريح؛ وأنتَ مشهورٌ بالمبدأ الباطني (أدهياتما) المتصل بالجلد—حاسة اللمس».
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse links a deity/being associated with Vāyu (Maruta) to an adhyātmic (inner) principle connected with tvak, the sense-organ of touch—suggesting that sensory faculties can be understood and disciplined through an inner, spiritual framework rather than mere outward experience.
