brāhmaṇy uvāca | nedam alpātmanā śakyaṁ vedituṁ nākṛtātmanā | bahu cālpaṁ ca saṁkṣiptaṁ viplutaṁ ca mataṁ mama ||
قالت المرأة البراهمنية: «لا يُفهم هذا على وجهه حقًّا من كان ضعيف القوة الباطنة، ولا من لم يُهذِّب نفسه. ما أدركته يبدو كثيرًا ومع ذلك قليلًا—مضغوطًا في ألفاظ موجزة—وفهمي متشتّت مضطرب».
