Mokṣa-dharma Yoga-Upadeśa: Equanimity, Sense-Restraint, and Vision of the Ātman (आत्मदर्शन-योगोपदेशः)

जीवो निष्क्रान्तमात्मानं शरीरात्‌ सम्प्रपश्यति । स तमुत्सृज्य देहे स्वं धारयन्‌ ब्रह्म केवलम्‌

jīvo niṣkrāntam ātmānaṃ śarīrāt samprapaśyati | sa tam utsṛjya dehe svaṃ dhārayan brahma kevalam |

قال البراهمن: «إنّ النفس الفردية تُبصر ذاتها كأنها قد خرجت—متميّزة عن الجسد. فتهجر التماهي مع ذلك الجسد، وإن كانت لا تزال تقيم فيه، وتتشبّث ببراهمن الخالص وحده. وعارف الحقيقة يتأمّل العليّ الأسمى بوصفه طبيعته الحقّة، وبمعونة العقل المميِّز يحقق شهود الذات. وفي تلك الحال يكاد يبتسم ضاحكًا وهو يقول في نفسه: “وا أسفاه! كالماء الذي يُرى في السراب، هذا العالم—الذي لا يظهر إلا في داخلي—قد أوقعني حتى الآن في ضلالٍ عبثي.” ومن يشهد العليّ على هذا النحو يتخذ منه ملجأً، وفي النهاية يتحرّر فيّ—أي يستقرّ في الخبرة المباشرة للعليّ داخل ذاته نفسها.»
