Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
जगदग्निरुवाच नैतस्थेह यथास्माकं भक्तमिन्धनमेव च । संचिन्त्यं वार्षिक चित्ते तेन पीवाउछुना सह
Jamadagnir uvāca: na etat iha yathā asmākam bhaktam indhanam eva ca | sañcintyam vārṣikam citte tena pīvā ucchunā saha ||
قال جامادغني: «ليس الأمر هنا كما هو عندنا؛ إذ علينا أن نحمل في أذهاننا طوال العام حساباتٍ قلقة بشأن الطعام، بل وحتى الحطب. ولما لم يكن في قلبه هذا الهمّ الممتدّ لعامٍ كامل، فقد غدا ممتلئ الجسد، مع الكلب.»
