Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
रक्षणार्थ च सर्वेषां भवतामहमागत: । यातुधानी ह्ूतिक्रूरा कृत्यैषा वो वधैषिणी,मैं आप सब लोगोंकी रक्षाके लिये यहाँ आया था यह यातुधानी अत्यन्त क्रूर स्वभाववाली कृत्या थी और आपलोगोंका वध करना चाहती थी
rakṣaṇārthaṃ ca sarveṣāṃ bhavatām aham āgataḥ | yātudhānī hūti-krūrā kṛtyaiṣā vo vadhaiṣiṇī ||
«لقد جئتُ إلى هنا لحمايةِكم جميعًا. هذه الياتودهاني (yātudhānī)—شرسةٌ قاسيةٌ بطبعها—هذه الكِرتيا (kṛtyā) كانت تطلب هلاككم.»
