Educational Q&A

This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse; its function is to signal the completion of a chapter in Bhīṣma’s discourse, here situated in the section on dāna-dharma (the ethical and religious principles of giving).

The text formally closes a chapter of Bhīṣma’s instruction (to Yudhiṣṭhira in the broader Anuśāsana Parva setting), indicating that the sixtieth chapter of the Dāna-dharma section has concluded.
