अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
न च तौ चक्रतुः क्रोधं॑ दम्पती सुमहामती । तयो: सम्प्रेक्षतोरेव पुनरन्तर्हितो5भवत्,परंतु उन परम बुद्धिमान् दम्पतिने उनपर क्रोध नहीं प्रकट किया। उन दोनोंके देखते- ही-देखते वे मुनि फिर अन्तर्धान हो गये
na ca tau cakratuḥ krodhaṁ dampatī sumahāmatī | tayoḥ samprekṣator eva punar antarhito 'bhavat ||
قال بهيشما: إنّ ذلك الزوج والزوجة، وهما في غاية الحكمة، لم يُظهرا غضبًا عليهم. وبينما كانا ينظران، اختفى الناسك مرةً أخرى عن الأنظار—مؤكِّدًا أن ضبط النفس والحِلم أسمى من الانتقام، ولو أُثير المرء واستُفِزّ.
