Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
hiraṇyabinduṁ vikṣobhya prayataśn ābhivādya ca
Even in moments of provocation or necessary confrontation, one should remain self-controlled (prayataḥ) and maintain respectful conduct (abhivādya), aligning action with dharma rather than impulse.
The speaker describes an action sequence: Hiraṇyabindu is first roused or disturbed (vikṣobhya), and then he is formally greeted with reverence (abhivādya), indicating a disciplined, protocol-bound interaction rather than a purely hostile one.
