आभासुरा गन्धपा धूमपाश्च वाचा विरुद्धाश्ष मनोविरुद्धा: । शुद्धाश्न निर्माणरताश्च देवा: स्पर्शाशना दर्शपा आज्यपाक्ष

ābhāsurā gandhapā dhūmapāś ca vācā-viruddhāś ca mano-viruddhāḥ | śuddhāś ca nirmāṇa-ratāś ca devāḥ sparśāśanā darśanapā ājyapāś ca ||

قال فايُو: «ثمّة كائناتٌ متلألئة ‘تقتات’ على العِطر وعلى الدخان؛ وثمّة أيضًا رُتَبٌ إلهيةٌ يكون نمطُ وجودها مخالفًا للكلام المألوف، بل مخالفًا للفكر المألوف. وثمّة آلهةٌ أطهارٌ منكبّون على عملِ تشكيل الكون وترتيبه. فمنهم من يقتاتُ باللمس وحده، ومنهم من يشربُ بالرؤية وحدها، ومنهم من يتناولُ السمنَ المصفّى (ghṛta).»
