सत्कृत्य ते तां सरितं तत: कृष्णमुखा नृप । अनुज्ञातास्तया सर्वे न्यवर्तन्त जनाधिपा:,नरेश्वर! श्रीकृष्ण आदि सब नरेश गंगाजीका सत्कार करके उनकी आज्ञा ले वहाँसे लौट आये
satkṛtya te tāṁ saritaṁ tataḥ kṛṣṇamukhā nṛpa | anujñātās tayā sarve nyavartanta janādhipāḥ ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: أيها الملك! بعدما أكرموا ذلك النهر المقدّس وأدّوا له حقّ التعظيم، استأذن جميع الملوك—يتقدّمهم شري كريشنا—فأذنت لهم، فعادوا من ذلك الموضع.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even rulers should act with humility and restraint: they honor what is sacred and proceed only after receiving proper permission, reflecting dharma as disciplined conduct rather than mere power.
After paying respects to the sacred river (understood as Gaṅgā) and receiving her leave, all the assembled kings—headed by Kṛṣṇa—depart and return from that location.
