घृतं माल्यं च गन्धांश्व॒ क्षौमाणि च युधिष्ठिर: । चन्दनागुरुमुख्यानि तथा कालीयकान्यपि
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
ghṛtaṁ mālyaṁ ca gandhāṁś ca kṣaumāṇi ca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ |
candanāgurumukhyāni tathā kālīyakāny api ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: إن يودهيشثيرا ابن كونتي كان قد أرسل سلفاً لطقوس إحراق جثمان بهيشما السمنَ المصفّى (غي)، والأكاليل، والعطور، وأقمشة الكتّان النفيسة، وأطيب المواد العطرية مثل خشب الصندل والأغارو، ومعها الكالييَكا (صندل أسود/معجون صندل)—وفاءً بالواجب وإظهاراً للعرفان تجاه الشيخ الذي أقام الدارما حتى في أتون الحرب.
