न हाधर्मतयाधर्म दद्यात् काल: कथंचन । तस्माद् विशुद्धमात्मानं जानीयाद् धर्मचारिणम्
na hādharmatayā dharmaṁ dadyāt kālaḥ kathaṁcana | tasmād viśuddham ātmānaṁ jānīyād dharmacāriṇam ||
قال بهيشما: «لا يستطيع الزمان بحالٍ أن يجعل الدَّرما أدهرما؛ ولا يقدر أن يحوّل الاستقامة نفسها إلى اعوجاج. لذلك ينبغي أن يُعرَف ممارس الدَّرما بأنه ذو ذاتٍ مطهَّرة—لا تستطيع المعاناة وتقلبات الزمان العسيرة أن تلوّثه حقًّا أو تُبطل مكانته في نظام الأخلاق».
