Shloka 3

द्वे तनू तस्य देवस्य वेदज्ञा ब्राह्मणा विदु: । घोरामन्यां शिवामन्यां ते तनू बहुधा पुनः

dve tanū tasya devasya vedajñā brāhmaṇā viduḥ | ghorām anyāṃ śivām anyāṃ te tanū bahudhā punaḥ ||

قال فايُو: «إن البراهمة العارفين بالويدا يدركون أن لهذه الإله صورتين: إحداهما مهيبة رهيبة تبعث على الخشية، والأخرى هي ‘شيفا’—مباركة لطيفة. ثم إن كلتا الصورتين تُفهمان كذلك في وجوهٍ كثيرة متفرعة».
